Dawn Foods is actively seeking a Financial Analyst III to join its Finance Supply Chain team. This role is a key business partner to the North America Supply Chain Functions, supporting over 20 distribution centers and regional supply chain leaders. The Financial Analyst III will provide financial analytics, guidance, and insights on efficient supply chain execution. Responsibilities include month-end close processes, budget and forecast formulation, collaborating with various departments, and conducting financial analyses. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience in finance and supply chain, and proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Excel and SAP.

The Financial Analyst III will collaborate with Supply Chain leaders and Distribution Center leaders to provide financial insights and key metrics. This collaboration aims to recommend actions for improving supply chain execution in alignment with Dawn’s business strategy. Analyzing financial performance, cost per pound, utilization, and other financial matters are crucial aspects of this role. The analyst will draw implications from the data, identify the “so what,” and determine the “what now” to drive actionable improvements. This position plays a critical role in supporting inventory management, including reporting, accruals, loss reduction, and optimizing Days of Inventory on Hand (DIOH).

This is a hybrid position requiring residency in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, or near a Dawn Foods distribution center in the Eastern or Central region. Initial in-person training will be held at the Home Office in Jackson, MI.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, coupled with 5 years of financial experience as a Finance Business Partner. Experience within the supply chain, distribution, or logistics industry is highly preferred. Strong commercial business acumen, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP are essential for success in this role. The ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is also crucial. Dawn Foods offers a comprehensive benefits package including health and well-being coverage, competitive compensation, and a 401(k) matching program. The compensation range for this position is $76,460 – $119,280 with potential for bonuses.
