Morgan Street Food Hall, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a vibrant culinary destination that offers a diverse range of food and drink options. This 20,000 square foot food hall, situated in the revitalized Warehouse District, has quickly become a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

USA Today recognized Morgan Street Food Hall as one of the “10 Best New Food Halls” in the country, highlighting its unique offerings and atmosphere. The food hall’s location, between West Street and Boylan Avenue, makes it easily accessible from downtown attractions like Citrix, The Dillon, and Glenwood South.

Conceived by Niall Hanley of Hibernian Hospitality Group, Morgan Street Food Hall reflects a vision to create a communal space where diverse cultures connect through food. Hanley, known for his successful establishments in Glenwood South, sought to bring the vibrant food hall concept he experienced in Ireland to Raleigh.

Street parking and a nearby parking garage at The Dillon provide ample parking options for visitors. The food hall’s interior design blends industrial elements like exposed HVAC and steel beams with warm finishes such as wooden tables, area rugs, and comfortable seating. Local artist Lisa Gaither contributed a colorful mural, adding to the hall’s vibrant ambiance.

A spacious outdoor patio offers additional seating, a bar, and a great spot for people-watching. Morgan Street Food Hall boasts a wide variety of cuisines, from Indian and Southern to Japanese and Mediterranean, ensuring something for everyone. Each vendor operates independently, accepting cash and credit cards.

Beverage options are plentiful, including craft cocktails at Auntie Betty’s gin bar, smoothies and bubble tea at Boba Brew, coffee at Morgan Street Java and Creperie, and organic juices at Raleigh Raw. The central bar, The Arbor, serves as a focal point within the food hall.

Beyond food and drinks, Morgan Street Food Hall offers local snacks, pre-packaged food products, and other items for purchase. Operating hours are generally 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Sunday through Wednesday, and 7:00 am to 2:00 am Thursday through Saturday. However, individual vendor hours may vary, with some opening later for lunch or closing earlier than the food hall itself.

Morgan Street Food Hall provides a unique dining experience, allowing guests to choose from a diverse selection of cuisines and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere. Free Wi-Fi is available for guests, and restrooms are located inside the food hall. While private events are planned for the future, they are not currently available. This dynamic food hall continues to evolve and solidify its place as a culinary gem in downtown Raleigh.
